Martine Goergen has been the General Director of the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg since March 2024. The CHL is the only public hospital in Luxembourg. It comprises four buildings, including a pediatric clinic, which is the only one in the country. The CHL has over 2,800 employees, including 500 doctors and 1,500 caregivers.
The CHL is a resolutely innovative hospital, as demonstrated by the construction of a new central building, scheduled to open in early 2029. Each year, it recruits around 500 employees, both externally and internally.
It is constantly looking for specialist doctors, caregivers, medical secretaries, as well as administrative, technical, and logistics personnel, particularly for the construction of the new building. It is also seeking legal experts, IT specialists, and reception staff.
The CHL is the only hospital in the country to offer salaried doctor status, along with the most attractive collective agreement.
