Here are the changes from 1\u1d49\u02b3 April 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Payment of unemployment benefit<\/p><\/path><\/svg><\/div>

Unemployment benefit will be paid on a monthly basis, i.e. on the basis of 30 days, even if there are 31 days in the month. The amount will no longer vary from month to month.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Seasonal workers<\/p><\/path><\/svg><\/div>

At present, people aged 53 and over must have worked for 6 of the last 36 months to qualify for unemployment benefit. From 1\u1d49\u02b3 April 2025, you will need to be at least 55 (not 53).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
